Remove all oil, grease, and rust stains using Gator Clean products. Use Gator Efflorescence Cleaner to remove any efflorescence trapped in the stone pores. How to Apply Alliance Gator Seal Signature Series Natural Stone Color Enhancer
Always refer to the latest Alliance Gator Seal Signature Series Natural Stone Technical Data Sheet (TDS) before applying. Always test on a hidden 4 sq ft area first.
Critical requirements: Stone and jointing sand must be 100 percent dry. Temperature must be between 50°F and 80°F. At least 48 hours of dry conditions before applying. Wait 60 days after new stone installation before sealing. Do not allow excess sealer to dry on the stone. Wipe off any excess within 5 to 10 minutes or white film or slippery residue may form. Unsealed surfaces only. Not a resealer.

Remove all stains and clean the stone surface
Remove all oil, grease, and rust stains using Gator Clean products. Use Gator Efflorescence Cleaner to remove any efflorescence trapped in the stone pores. This also thoroughly cleans the surface for proper sealer adhesion. Use Gator Sealer Stripper if any unknown existing coating is present. Allow 48 hours at above 50°F with no rain after cleaning before applying Alliance Gator Seal Signature Series Natural Stone Color Enhancer.

Replace any contaminated jointing material
If any contaminated polymeric sand or jointing material is present, remove and replace it before sealing. Allow the new jointing material to cure for at least 48 hours at above 50°F with no rain before applying Alliance Gator Seal Signature Series Natural Stone Color Enhancer.

Apply Alliance Gator Seal Signature Series Natural Stone Color Enhancer in 60 sq ft sections
Apply one coat of Alliance Gator Seal Signature Series Natural Stone Color Enhancer using an HVLP sprayer, nap roller (1/4 to 3/8 inch), squeegee, sponge, or rag. Work in sections of 60 sq ft at a time. Apply evenly across the stone surface ensuring full coverage of all stone faces and joints.

Remove excess sealer within 5 to 10 minutes
After applying each section, allow the sealer to penetrate for 5 to 10 minutes, then use a nap roller or squeegee to remove excess sealer from the surface. Wipe any remaining excess completely dry with clean, dry, lint free cotton cloths. This step is critical. Do not allow excess Alliance Gator Seal Signature Series Natural Stone Color Enhancer to dry on the stone surface as it may leave a white film or slippery residue.

Check seal and repeat if needed after 30 minutes
After 30 minutes, test the sealed area with a drop of water. If water still soaks into the stone rather than beading up, the stone may need an additional coat of Alliance Gator Seal Signature Series Natural Stone Color Enhancer. Repeat the apply and wipe process on any insufficiently sealed areas.
